What I did on valentine’s day

Just a few days ago was the day to celebrate all things LOVE, I had such a nice day and just wanted to share it all with you today.

So rather than having a typical valentine’s day I had a ‘galentine’s’ day with my best friend Joss. We started the day in a slightly unconventional way and got tattoos.

We had seen a local tattoo artist was having a flash sale for valentines day and two designs caught our eye so we just thought lets go. So Joss got a key on her leg and I got a padlock on my left arm, which you would’ve seen if you follow me on my Instagram. We got them done at The Lookout by Shannon so definitely go check her and the shop out if you’re interested in tattoos.

We then went to grab some food to have for our romantic dinner and watched I feel pretty with Amy Schumer which was a pretty good film. We had got dinner from Morrisons on their valentines day meal deal which included three course dinner, a side and a bottle of wine so I was sold. Joss did all of the cooking, of course, as I am pretty much useless in the kitchen, unless its super noodles then I’m your girl.

We just had a chilled girls night in and lazed around which is exactly what I think we needed. It was nice to spend the day that celebrates love with someone you really care about. So to any of the bitter single people out there if you don’t have a love interest to share it with spread the love amongst your friends and family.

Thank you so much for reading this post, I hope you enjoyed it.
