Two weeks in

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. This week’s post is just a little update as to how I’m doing two weeks into my second year at university.

After being back for two weeks now I feel as though I’m beginning to settle back into things. Change takes getting used to which was a task to begin with but I’m feeling a lot better now. I think being in a house this year has made the process of moving away a lot easier, it feels more homely and cosy. Also, the beds are a lot bigger and comfier than halls, so that is a huge plus. One thing I do miss is having my own bathroom, that was a luxury I didn’t realise I’d miss so much from halls.

The work has already started piling in and seems as though I have so much more than last year which I am still trying to adjust to. My aim for this year is to stay on top of things and I hope I can succeed at it. Otherwise when it comes to deadline week I am going to hate myself. But I’m happy to say, so far so good.

I have also decided this year to say yes more. Last year I sabotaged myself by saying no to so many things, I was too nervous to hang out with people I didn’t know so well. I made excuses for my shyness and it left me feeling bored and pretty shitty for weeks on end. So this year I will agree to do more things and be more sociable. I can also say this little self-set goal is going well too, I have already hung out with people I barely spoke to last year and feel a lot more comfortable around new people.

So this was just my little update for you guys to know how I’m getting on, I hope you enjoyed this week’s post. I am going to try and get a fashion piece up in the next couple of weeks as soon as I get my camera back so please bear with me!
