DermaV10 clay mask review

Hello everyone, today I have a review for you. So the lovely people over at HealthPoint ltd sent me some Derma V10 facemasks and I wanted to let you know what I thought of them.

*Disclaimer: This post isn’t sponsored, I was luckily gifted these products, which I am very grateful for. But all opinions are honest and my own.

ACS_0001I received three different 50 ml clay facemasks: Charcoal, Red Algae and Eucalyptus. These facemasks are cruelty free and suitable for vegetarians. The packaging it quite simple, nothing crazy but there is nothing wrong with that. I’ve used them all at least once so I’m giving my initial impression of them.

Charcoal detoxifying clay mask

Key ingredients:

Kaolin- natural clay known to absorb impurities

Charcoal- helps removes excess oil and tightens pore

Vitamin E- improves skin texture

Honey- moisturises and soothes the skin

With this facemask a little bit of product seems to go a long way, it is a smooth and creamy consistency so it was very easy to apply. My skin was immediately and significantly smoother after I had washed it off. I waited till the mask was completely dry and washed it off in the shower with hot water alone and it came off easily.

Eucalyptus purifying clay mask

Key ingredients:

Kaolin- natural clay known to absorb impurities

Eucalyptus extract- helps purify and soothe skin

Vitamin E- improves skin texture

Honey- moisturises and soothes the skin

I felt as though with this mask I needed to use a lot more product to get even coverage of my face. The mask was smooth and creamy like the charcoal and felt so cooling and refreshing while it was on my skin. Areas of my face seemed smoother than other parts after, which is probably because I had more product on certain areas of my face than others so I think the charcoal mask gave a better all over result. My skin also had gone a bit red afterwards, this may have just been my skin not getting on with this mask so I will definitely try this mask again and see what happens

Red Algae brightening clay mask

Key ingredients:

Kaolin- natural clay known to absorb impurities

Walnut shell- exfoliates the skin to help promote new skin cell regeneration

Red Algae- brightens and soothes the skin

Vitamin E- improves skin texture

Honey- moisturises and soothes the skin

I think of all the masks this one was my favourite, I found it easiest to apply and it came out with a nice even layer. It is the only one of the masks that has texture to it, due to the walnut shell, so my skin felt incredibly smooth afterwards. My skin looked significantly refreshed so soon after I took the mask off and I felt as though my skin still looked brighter the next day.

You can get these masks online at Luxplus and Fragrancedirect for less that £2, which is an insane deal. In all honesty I probably won’t be itching to buy these products myself when they run out, but if I wanted a cheap facemask that I know works I would order either the charcoal or red algae mask

I hope you enjoyed this weeks post!

  1. What an informative review! I had fun reading through your review, and I might think of purchasing it the next time I’m doing a skincare sunday!

I found your blog through the blog party; I’m a little late, so I thought it’d be better for me to comment down here. I’m still relatively new to the whole blogging thing, so I would appreciate it if we could be friends (just followed too, btw.)!
